Bee on Allium

We were forecast to have some rain today but it didn’t materialise other than a few drops in the morning. It was however cloudy and cooler. I went out to the allotment and spent some time getting rid of the weeds around the french beans. There is so much oxalis present it makes weeding difficult and time consuming.

After lunch l returned again to pick some of the blackcurrants and then water the plants.

Today’s blip is of a flowering leek that a bee was finding attractive on the allotment.
