Tall Poppies

I slept late and then pottered round the house until I popped out for a short walk. It was nice and sunny, but rather breezy.

I then headed out for a run. I haven’t run since I fell a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure how my run would go, but it was fine and overall I ran about five miles. It was hot, but I almost enjoyed it! The downside was that when I got back, there was a message from work and as I am on call had to deal with it. Thankfully it didn’t take too long.

After lunch there was more washing to hang out. I considered sitting in the garden with my book, but it was just too breezy. Later in the afternoon I thought I could risk going out, so BB and I went out for a walk. I had to shorten the walk, as I got another call from work, which I had to deal with.

Later there was curry for tea, then TT FaceTimed his mum. BB and I watched some more Friday Night Dinner.

I walked past this patch of wildflowers this morning. They are mostly daisies and cornflowers, with a few poppies.
