Hurtling
We had our usual hour's walk this morning, but it turned out to be not as enjoyable as I expected. It was simply too cold. The sun was just appearing in places, but it did nothing to lift the -3C frost. So it was a very fast walk.
Consequently after lunch, when the sun was higher in the sky and the world had thawed out somewhat - and the temperatures warmed up to a heady +7C - I decided we needed a proper walk. We headed off to Bortons Pond where we surprisingly walked the 10km double circuit.
Being Sunday it was busy there, in that we met nine people, three dogs and two horses. Most were friendly.
Bean and I are well-walked this evening. Actually, Bean is well-hurtled.
