Dragons
I’ve been sleeping really well this week, which has come as something of a surprise, but is welcome nonetheless.
We took a walk into town this morning for this afternoon’s trip on the train to Lancaster to catching a viewing of the live-action How To Train Your Dragon film.
It was OK. The flight scenes were stunning, but as a whole it felt a little laborious and overlong. The wee ones seemed to love it though, which was the main thing.
We returned home for a picky tea and to watch England be beaten by a superior French team. Looks like we will do well to get out of the group at this stage.
I read blips detailing what some of you are having to deal with. Then there’s the news about various horrible things happening in the world and it all puts my own teeny tiny troubles into a more suitable perspective.
It is so easy to forget to focus on what we do have rather than grumbling about what we don’t.
Took this one while we were waiting for our train. It’s a representation of what I used to be…….a fungi.
Sorry.
