Dear god, my Silverstone photos are rubbish, I forget all about it tbh. Here we have no more sun (good news) and view from my seat 2 mins after qualifying today. My neighbours arrived for the first time this weekend 10 minutes into quali (they had been queuing for pancakes which, to be fair, did smell amazing), looked at their phones throughout and then left. No matter, I have lots of room for my bag.

I had a little camping morning, doing all my jobs and reading my book. Then, as I was leaving couldn't find my glasses. I've been wearing sunglasses for days now so had no idea where I had left them. Got bored of looking so left for my day out wearing sunglasses once more on a day with absolutely no sunshine.

Yesterday I did far too much walking around the circuit, not the best for my dodgy leg so today I treated myself to a day with minimal movement. F1 practice, F2 sprint race, some Porsches and Eddie Jordan tribute cars. And then quali where I think I was the only one cheering anyone non- McLaren.

And then back to camping, a nice pint watching the cricket then to my van for my book, a Buddha bowl, wine and ginger nuts. Found my glasses hiding under 2 hats. Top day.
