I was out the door at 5:30 and on my way to Shuswap Road. This time, I had the company of my daughter.

We took the long way - across the bridge and east on Hwy #1 to the turnoff for the Pritchard Bridge. I stopped on the mid point of the bridge to take a shot of the river facing west, then turned left onto Shuswap Road to start my jaunt.

I took views along the South Thompson River while enjoying the morning sun coming into the valley. The silt bluffs catch the light at different angles. I caught an eagle on the usual platform. My last shot is the Wanda Sue, a replica paddlewheeler resting at its dock.

I'm in for the day and it will be a lazy one. No promises that anything constructive will happen.
