Five of Ten

I drove quite a long way through narrow lanes with high hedges to find a vantage point from which to spot the Red Arrows as they returned home from Exeter this afternoon.  I ended up on a hill only about 2 miles from home . . .

EDIT: this formation video from 2012 by pilots from RAF Valley reminds me of formation flying. I’ve been in formations no larger than 12 (for the opening of the Dartford Crossing in around 1992, Tornados) but the excitement of the flying never palled .
