Slipper flower
A dull day, though improving as time went on. Began with photo sorting - I’m only on Day 3 of my London trip so it might take some time! This was the day I went up to Battersea Power Station, along the Thames through Battersea Park, and back along the north bank and returning over Chiswick Bridge.
Later in the morning I went out to the greenhouse and potted up some seedlings and rooted cuttings - as if I needed any more plants! I will give some away to local plant sales if we have any coming up, and to one or two keen plant growers round about.
One plant that will always be with me is Calceolaria mexicana. I can’t remember where I first acquired it, but it follows me everywhere, coming up in various other pots over many years. It’s a lovely little annual - no prizes for guessing where it originates! I have a few potted on and beginning to flower - my Blip today.
Warm enough this afternoon to sit out for a while with a cuppa in between the clouds!
