All kinds of everything

A mixed day today - I walked downtown this morning and took my camera into the local photographic shop. For a long time the lens has been playing up, the autofocus not running smoothly, so I have to wait for five clicks before I can press the shutter! The man in the shop, who is a member of our Photo Club, tried various things and handed the camera back, but it was still the same. He talked about getting a new lens, getting this one repaired, then did some more fiddling and said that the lens was fine and just needed some alternative settings. I had to go then as I had a doctor's appointment, but unfortunately the problem has not gone away so I'm no better off!

I quickly called in at the mobile phone shop to ask why my phone should suddenly lock itself, but got no quick answers there either, so another problem for another day!

Went to the doc to discuss exercises for a sore shoulder, then wandered back up the hill, experimenting with my camera. This is a general view over part of the town with the North Pier in the centre, along with the 'Isle of Lewis' and other ferries. Ahead is the island of Kerrera and to the left, Pulpit Hill.

Back home to do some more picture sorting, then we had some sunshine so I went out to do some potting and weeding. Then the heavens opened for a few minutes and now the sun is streaming down. Maybe I should write a poem about the weather!
