Walking

Today I avoided getting we when walking Django, as it was dry first thing, and almost pleasant in the evening, after a lot of steady drizzle in between. The morning walk to Roslin finished at 11:00 - the end of the June Turf round, which saw me promoted very easily to League 7. After doing some work, shopping for groceries, watching the entertaining Derbyshire vs Yorkshire T20, and cooking, I went out on daughter K's bike. With Hodge and Aibo away, seeing all the Penicuik Turf zones still "neutral" after six hours of the new round was too tempting. When I got back, daughter L had arrived back from a rather damp but enjoyable time at the Kelburn Garden Party (festival). 

On Django's evening walk, there was briefly some beautiful light when the sun dipped down below the dark clouds, but it had disappeared again when I got to somewhere that offered a decent view.
