One of my neighbours asked on our street WhatsApp group whether any of us wanted some of the damsons currently raining down on her garden.

This is a very tiny portion of my huge share. With a bit of luck, the heat that is forecast for later in the week will help turn them into fruit leather on my windowsills. There has to be some advantage to solar gain.
