Untied

I got home from church thinking that in the mild weather would allow me to get into the front garden and get on with weeding and removing old vegetation. With the warm weather and recent rains, the weeds have taken off.

By the time I had changed the rain started and it turned into a wet day. Good for the garden – and the weeds – but not what I had hoped for.

So Plan B. Nearly 24 hours after the gluing and tying up I removed the web. All the chairs seem to stay upright and do feel more secure.

Then some dusting and vacuuming followed by a lovely dinner, some admin, then some TV (catching up on surgeons at the edge). It’s the sort of programme I find fascinating but can’t bear to watch! This one involved a facial reconstruction and, separately a bladder reconstruction (using a segment of bowel!). The skills are phenomenal and their ability to either stitch with micro precision or just rummage around in someone’s innards is amazing.

Makes my efforts at tying things up look very amateurish!
