The neighbors

The cows were hanging about as I was leaving Mom's. A quick blip from my car.

I've had a busy day. I was up early and had a quick hike at Pilot Hill. Then out to Mom's to help go through cupboards. We got quite a bit done. Ugh, but there is a lot of stuff in the back of those cupboards that have just been sitting for years. I took so nice casserole dishes and we threw lots out and have a big  bag for Goodwill.
Then I zipped up to Centennial to listen to a friend who plays jazz outside at one of the restaurants. He's been doing it for 20 years and it is very nice to relax and listen. A friend met me up there. I didn't stay long as I had a lot to unload and get my house straightened. 
The landlady and rotorooter guy are coming tomorrow to clean out the pipes. My toilet has to be removed to do this. This is just routine but kind of a pain. I think I will head downtown for coffee while they are doing it.
Now it's time for dinner!
