Meeboer Reservoir

I did an early rise this morning at five and left for the short drive to this prairie reservoir. It is so pretty in the early morning light to drive through some of the ranches that line the road. The water was still and I loved the reflections of the reeds in the water. Jelm mountain is in the middle where our observatory is and Sheep mountain is to the right.
I saw one lone pelican circle around and come in to rest. I hope it joined up with some friends at some point today.
The two extras are the shapes that some reeds made with their reflections.
I have started painting my dresser that I got from Mom. My friend Kelli had some extra paint and it's perfect. Tomorrow I will start working the actual summer school but only 3 half days a week. Not bad.
