Daisies

Have never successfully grown these big daisies; they are doing just fine in Queen Street gardens, along with a lot of feverfew. That grew well in the Los Altos garden. 

Met a Frenchman who had three extra days in Edinburgh having been walking in Skye and on Ben Nevis as a result of the air traffic controllers strike in France. His first visit to Scotland; he was delighted with the place and wants to come back. 

Late afternoon walk by the railway paths to Newhaven, then back by no 23 bus, dodging showers. Sun in the mid evening again. 16C, N wind, mostly overcast. Heavy rain in the late evening.
