Reflections in clouds
A much better day; sunshine and clouds and a stiff West wind.
Afternoon walk over Leith Links to Portobello; we went by the beach from Seafield, and should really have waited half an hour more for the tide to receed; there's a section where we had to walk up on the concrete seawall to avoid wading (or turning back). Note to self; that route needs at least 2 hours after high tide, more if there's an onshore wind.
There were lots of black headed gulls on the beach, and a couple of blue jellyfish; the usual healthy lugworm population only visible by their casts.
Tea and ice cream at Crumbs, since Oscars had a long line. We had to hold onto the cups to prevent them blowing away. Lots of people about, though.
Back on a no 26 bus.
