Heron
Walked around the east garden in the morning, found a butterfly or two, only one of which sat still for long enough for pictures. Various emails exchanged setting up meetings for next week.
Hazy sunshine and a stiff wind. Walk after early supper by the railway paths to South and North Fort Street, then to the section of the Water of Leith path between Anderson Place and Newhaven Street which we hardly ever walk on .. there was a big heron, no visible fish, plenty of water in the river.
