Beach Days

Not exactly beach day weather today but after many months, a new knitted wreath has appeared on the red door in the high street. The mystery knitter has obviously been hard at work.

I planted leek seedlings at the allotment today. Whilst I did so thunder clapped and rain clouds moved in to give us a gentle shower. The full force of the rain held back until we did our late afternoon dog walk. A very heavy downpour soaked us. I didn’t mind at all - it was a relief to feel the rain pouring down my arms and see it puddling on the ground after so much heat and dryness.
