Metal and Steps

The MonoMonday challenge today is ‘Metal’, and there’s plenty here.
 
 
My first thought was to tidy up the BBQ area and just get the iron fence in shot, but all the BBQ debris is metal anyway, and it gives the image interest (he says).
 

At extra I’ve posted a collage of a couple of shots I had in the camera of a family of young sparrows trying to bath in the drinking water ‘bowl’, however it is a bit too deep for them.  The shot I like best id the rear end pointing at the camera.  They were taken through the kitchen window, so quality not great.
 
 
Plenty of clouds this morning (see second extra, another mono for Monday) but pitiful lack of rain since yesterday.  We had another two or three millimetres but more evaporated than making it into the water tank.
