Game Fair Scone Palace
I slept in and we only left short after 10 instead of the planned 9 - 9;30 am ...
I was determined to get my car washed as it had been standing under trees and was looking terrible.
On the way to the car wash we ran into the Orange March ....
And we managed to catch it AGAIN on the way to the motorway ....
We finally wrrived at Scone Palace just before 12 pm.
The weather was much nicer than expected and forecasted.
We visited Natasha and Iain.
Natasha was launching her Fine Art Pet drawing business there.
She had done a lot of work to get all those drawings ready and framed.
And I managed to not take a single picture of the stall.
Neil and I wandered the game fair and enjoyed the sunshine and the various displays and activities.
We went shooting with the air rifles. I last shot an air rifle at a tin about 36 years ago - so I went for the beginners set of 7 shots.
Whereas Neil went for the "competition"
I did really well and earned a top gun badge - look the extra pictures.
Neil wasn't too happy with my beginners luck as he did not shoot as well as I did. :)
I think I might be not only talented shooting with a camera but also with a rifle - hehe!
We did not try the clay pigeons though.
We had a delicious venison burger and some incredible brownies.
Helped Natasha to wrap up all the pictures to take home over night and met them in Kinross for a chippy at Loch Leven.
We were home by 9 pm - shattered.
It was a good day.
