Dolgoch Falls

Today we took a short trip to Dolgoch Falls. The falls are part of the stream called Nant Dôl-goch, which flows into the Afon Fathew. A popular walk from the nearby Dolgoch station on the Talyllyn Railway runs besides the falls.[1] The Dolgoch slate quarry was dug into the west wall of the gorge of the falls. The various ferns and moss covered rocks and trees were amazing and looked as though they were out of a fairy woodland. Truly beautiful.
