Cockermouth Live!
The view from the back of the stage that esteemed photographer and Blipfoto Director Graham Colling shot from frontstage.
Very few of you will be aware that I used to play drums, in fact, I've had an electronic kit for the past 15 years purely for relaxation. A few months ago, a local band (of a certain age) called "between the waves" - which I have photographed a few times - asked me if I could step in for rehearsals whilst their drummer was away in New Zealand.
On his return, he decided to step down from the band (possibly not permanently) - so I was offered to join the band. The upcoming Gig was today - in the Brown Cow in Cockermouth for Charity, as part of Cockermouth Live.
It went really well, and, as the first live gig I've played in almost 50 years I was very pleased, and had a great time.
