Homeward Bound

Yesterday we drove down to Yorkshire and stayed overnight with our lovely friend A, who still lives in the village where we were for 30+ years. So much catching up to do! And we were off promptly into Leeds for the Memorial Celebration of a former colleague of TM's. Even more catching up! It's 10 years since he retired ...

It truly was a celebration. M's wife and sons, plus about a dozen old friends spoke about their memories of him. He was a colourful character and so were some of the stories!

Then it was back on the road north. Lovely light on the M6.
