TOOT TOOT TRAIN

My appointment for cataract surgery on my left eye was 3pm.  I got to the Metrocentre early and just sat on a bench until it was time to go to the Eye clinic.  

When this mini train passed by I decided to blip it for Mono Monday - the theme is ' Metal'.   Its called the Toot Toot Train and carries passengers around the malls in  Metrocentre.  Thanks to  JacZero for hosting the challenge.

Even though my appointment was 3pm it was 4.30pm before I got into the operating theatre.  I was bored stiff waiting around.  Neil was waiting around too as he came to meet me.  I was in the Eye Clinic... he was in Wetherspoons.

The surgery went OK.  I knew what to expect after having my right eye done on 2nd June.  I met up with Neil afterwards and he came home with me on the bus.  He stayed for a while and then he walked down to the village to get his bus home.  Bit of a wasted afternoon for him unfortunately.

The eye isn't too bad this evening.  Not as painful as the first one was on the first evening  ... and not as watery.  Vision is still blurry of course but that should improve in the coming days.
