Assembling the cover for my photobook
When I last made Photobooks, 2 or 3 years ago, I simply used coloured card to create them. This time I had a try at adding a cover, but as you’ll see I didn’t quite get it right this time. The front cover is fine, but I didn’t quite manage the corners. I couldn’t find my set square. Once upon a time I had an A3 sized case that I kept my book making stuff in but when I opened it the contents were linked to screen printing. I don’t think I know where to look now.
A busy day and a good one, but I was very tired and didn’t seem to get the Dopamine boosts from my medication.
So what did I do?
Sent Lyn a copy of my poem to go on the front page of my Dance Lane photo book. She came up with a couple of suggestions for word changes, which I’ve used, and I added two more of my own, so it’s ready for printing now.
Drove to the Hospice for my ten o’clock meeting and came home via the Coop.
Lunch, hang washing out and iron a few things as they dried outside - it’s always easier when cotton is still slightly damp.
Fitted making my book cover round other jobs.
Photo in extra - I think the bee in the largest image might be a cuckoo bee. They mirror the look of other bumble bees, in this case it would be the Buff-tailed bumble. The female lays eggs in an appropriate nest and leaves the rearing to the adopted parents. These cuckoo bees are always a bit ungainly looking but look like their hosts in many ways.
Had a walk after my 4pm Meds but felt pretty tired. I use my stick when I feel like that because my balance is a little affected, sometimes I walk confidently without it.
