The princess and her luggage

L&L + EAJS arrived late afternoon. Mr A arrived on the train late morning. I just hung out and had a pretty lazy day although I did do a handover of issues meeting with my colleague at our usual time in the morning. Changes are happening and her team is being disrupted by departures. It's not easy.

The family have a very nice AirBnB on Abbey Mount - literally a house around the corner that I had no idea existed with a view of Arthur's Seat. It has a huge bamboo in a lovely terracotta pot, which gave us quite some envy (and ideas) (see extra). Quiet, despite the proximity of main roads. Getting in with the car to drop stuff off was a bit complicated, but the taxi from the airport managed to back into the gateway without too much complication. EAJS comes with an astonishing amount of luggage and equipment. What can be seen here is only part of it.

But she is super sweet and much changed from two months ago. Quite a bit calmer on the whole, and new routines have been put in place which meant we had an undisturbed hour or two with the parents in the evening before we left to come home.
