Beauty is all around us.

The Feast Day of Saint Kilian.
Born 640, Ireland.
Died 8th July 689, Wurzburg, Germany.

St Kilian was a native of Ireland who was ordained " travelling" bishop. He travelled with eleven companions to the pagan regions of Franconia and Thuringia aiming to convert them for Christ.

Today is sunny and very windy. 20.5c in the living room, 78f in the conservatory.
It is great for drying the cloths and towels.

Holly has been chasing two white butterflies in the garden. Hunter has gone beyond the garden but comes home for meals. Jasper visited and rolled blissfully in the cat mint.

Paul and me went to The Post Office to post his application to renew his driving licence. The big envelope required a first class stamp which cost £1.70.

A quiet afternoon doing some housework, reading the People's Friend and playing with the cats.

I am missing Escape to the Country while Wimbledon coverage is occupying that slot in the programme schedule. I watch a little tennis but I am not as interested as I was in my younger years.

Have a lovely Tuesday and thank you for dropping by today blip friends.
