Dazzling river
Looking east at about 8.15 as I walk to Fareshare. Massive traffic jams behind me and all around. Bristol is a city of bottlenecks. I always feel lucky that once I’m over the other side I go down some steps and walk along by the cool river, leaving the traffic jams behind.
Ahead of you , you can see a red and an orange cube - they mark Paintworks, a formerly industrial area, now containing a lot of nice flats, some office space, a nice (ish) cafe where I went last week, and of more interest to blippers - the Royal Photographic Society HQ and Gallery and the Martin Parr Gallery. More flats being squeezed into the last space, hence the crane.
A nice morning at Fareshare - busy as always - and then some errands done in the centre, while I’m there….
Felt awfully tired and feeble in the afternoon. Thought I’d read my book, but I found myself falling asleep over it. Sleeping in the daytime doesn’t work out well for me, so I forced myself to get up and potter in the garden instead. Watched my first Wimbledon match - a very one-sided battle between Alcaraz and Norrie. Some awesome skills. Early night.
