A visit to Brentwood

Yesterday Violet trapped her thumb in the car door as she was being delivered for the school run.  Luckily the thumb was not broken ,just a flesh wound but an extremely painful one at that.  I didn't take any photos and almost forgot again today, when we went to a dental lab that we know well for shade matching for my new crown.  It was an enjoyable visit , a shade was found and we saw the recent developments in dental technology at work.  On the way back I did manage to snap an Essex country lane - see pic.  I also managed to take a pic of roadworks, an everyday occurrence in the UK!
