The Gatekeeper

Today was a very busy one.  We took Violet to school and later I fetched her all by myself as Mr MC was still having his cardiac MRI scan.  It really did take an hour and a half in the machine itself and he had to starve for 4 hours beforehand.
At teatime our friends T and D arrived.  T is my longest standing friend as we met when we were 11 and all these years later we  still find plenty to talk about.  We went to our favourite Indian restaurant this evening so Mr MC made up for his fasting earlier on.
