Central

A full day of sightseeing. Firstly we took the Star Ferry across the harbour and after wandering aimlessly for a short while we found the no. 15 bus which goes all the way up to The Peak. At the top it had changed quite a bit since we were up there over forty years ago. The Peak Tram has been upgraded too (extra 1). We took it down to Central, much quicker than the bus. It was quite a bit warmer down in the city so we found a nice air-conditioned cafe for a snack. I popped out to take the picture of the other type of Hong Kong tram (main). This might do for today's street scene theme. Then a walk back to the ferry terminal and a return to the Kowloon side (lower deck this time as it's slightly cheaper). After a freshen up we went around the corner to a small Vietnamese cafe (NÓN cafe) for a light dinner. Then back to the harbour for the nightly light show. There are lasers and music at 8pm but the earlier light in the sky was better so that's what's in extra 2. Ta to BobsBlips for hosting.
