Arriving

From palace yesterday to wild places today.

Cyclops and CyclopsJnr headed north for a few days.  In the car we listened to the end of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (which we loved) then started on Phillip Pullmans "Northern Lights" (which we also loved).

It was a pleasant evening to arrive and we got a couple of trips between the car and house done to get ourselves set up and stocked.

Having (not very carefully) tried his wellys a week or so ago, CyclopsJnr announced a few metres into the journey that they were uncomfy on his feet.  Sure enough he was getting blisters, but compeed was on hand to save the day.

Bacon pasta for dinner, followed by a game of Junior Monopoly which CyclopsJnr won in style!
