Common Blue butterfly

It's was a cloudy start to the day but the sun soon broke through.  I met up with a friend at Bystock Pools and we had a slow wander around the nature reserve looking at the various dragonflies, demoiselles and butterflies flying around.  A fair variety but not in very large numbers.

As it was fairly hot we spent a long time in the shade watching the dragonflies flitting around the main pool while we had our coffees.  An enjoyable morning.

A visit from our hairdresser this afternoon.
