Looking Fae Uphouse
Mist and low cloud hanging around this morning, drizzle too. It dried up, with a sunny afternoon. Heavy rain this evening. Windy all day.
A day working with James on the mini essykert. We've been on plastic recycling waste in Bressay, then black bag waste in Lerwick and Scalloway. Yuck, I got caught with an explosive bag at the back of the lorry, covered in some stinky goo, a showered was needed immediately after work. I managed a walk after, and popped by Madeline's. A quiet evening at home, mam and dad nipped along for a cuppa.
It wasn't much of summer's morning, a common Shetland summer's morning, mist. A few days of summer, then that pesky sea haar rolls in, created by the heat south of us. Life can be unfair, but at least we don't have to worry about watering the garden, or running out of tap water. A driech scene from Uphouse, Bressay.
