Ukulele Hetty
Another busy day, but not as bad as the past two days.
Walked Hetty to school, Bella is still off but Marlane has had some success with getting her to do the eye drops!
Walked back home, got the bike out and rode back to the school for the 09:30 Ukulele concert given by year 1. That is Hetty at the back holding a Ukulele. She really gave it a go, strumming and singing. She's come a long way from the shy girl that started at this school in April 2024. She is the one in the white top at the back next to the teacher.
I took the bike because I didn't know how long the concert would be, as it was only half an hour I returned home for 20 minutes before setting off for the village of Tarrington, Herefordshire, for the internment of my Aunt Grace's ashes in the cemetery where many other Rose's are buried.
It was a nice little ceremony, couple of photos in the Extra section.
I popped into the lovely church of St Philip and St James where I knew my father had carved his initials in the wood behind the organ.
The boys of the village took turns to pump the bellows for the organ. He would have been doing it late 1920's into the 1930's. He was born 4th May 1922. He always said that the whole of the USA celebrated his birthday HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
