Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Random Rubble

That's what they call the stonework of our church. Service this morning, we had twelve there which is about the same as always. Someone knocked a cup of coffee over the laminated service sheets, yucky, sticky work cleaning then all off .
I had noticed on Sunday that the crossing lights didn't appear to be working but forgot to check. Sure enough they aren't.
My niece was up working in Edinburgh today and tomorrow so came and stayed overnight. She's my middle sister's daughter, and it's growing more and more like her mum to look at. I wish her mum was still around to see her too. It seems so odd that she's not, and always a sad gal in our lives. 16 years since she died.
Ali and the girls came over and stayed overnight so that they could see her too, a lovely happy evening.
