Taking a breather……11:10am.

I decided to deadhead the roses early today, before the heat builds up, and put two geraniums, which I bought the other day, into two of my dad’s old garden pots. I brought them back from his garden after he died and I’d sold the house.
I have 6 altogether.
I just got dressed and will have a shower before lunchtime. (Stephen has taken our eldest grandson into Sutton this morning to get a book in Waterstones.)
I have a really good portable garden kneeler which can be used as a seat the other way up.
I’ll add two photos in extras.
I’ve been sitting on it deadheading the shrub roses.
Now I’ve just come to make a cuppa and have a breather, I’ve realised I don’t quite know where I left the secateurs! I’ve been to look in the borders and the summerhouse already. But they will turn up hopefully!
I do have another pair.
Time to have my cuppa.
