Drying Out

Tail end of last week Mrs S and I cleared the utility room in preparation for the builders. Great fun, all sorts of assorted goodies junk including a 100+ of the plastic ‘festival’ pint pots accumulated from just about every Cornish rugby club, some from Devon but at least 50% from Twickenham. Most went outside to the “Help Yourself” box. In the end although there was a fair bit in the box it wasn’t quite at the departing student level.
The tiles have gone and the floor dried out nicely over the weekend as are we after yesterday’s rain.

Breakfast at Smokey Joes was suspended, doesn’t open until 10:00am so we settled for a McD’s breakfast before heading home and unloading.

Roast dinner in the evening before finishing off my book; “The Man Who Climbs Trees”, hugely recommended.
