A busy morning baking (Blueberry & Lemon Drizzle loaf, Chocolate & Vanilla Traybake, Carrot & Walnut loaf plus an Apple & Cinnamon loaf from the freezer) for my friend Chris's Open Gardens weekend. I don't normally bake in these temperatures and I don't normally end up covered in chocolate!
I gave myself the afternoon off so that I could visit my former Adult Ed Tutor colleague Amanda, who is doing Frome Open Studios this week. She has an eye for colour and her garden is stunning!
