Bin Find No 6,532

This must be one of the BEST bin finds! Archie wanted to swap his old bed for it, but we couldn't fit such a large bed in!  Anyway, it was full of those wee polystyrene balls - dangerous! Imagine if it burst!

The boiler man came first thing, bang on 9am! Just as well I was up and organised! Though he had texted his imminent arrival, so it wasn't a shock.

After that, I took Archie round to the Links to meet up with John and Amanda. We found the great big dog bed on the way.  He ran really fast to them, then back to me, then back to them. No sore leg in evidence. They set off to the butcher to get sausages for a (new) barbecue. Archie has to wait outside, of course. We had texts of their progress during the day, as they usually do.

JR decided to wash the windows. They are sparkling! I watched the women's semi final, with the sound OFF. That screeching woman was on again, and I was VERY PLEASED to see that she was beaten, and will not be screeching on Wimbledon grass any more this year.

We then actually spent a bit of time organising some of my cruise wardrobe, and we checked again the excursions that we booked months ago. Just making sure they weren't too strenuous or too much walking. All good.

The walkers came back later, it was still WARM, and Archie has been snoozing since... We're having a heat wave, apparently, lasting more than ONE DAY. All good!
