Newbie

When I got back yesterday evening, I was pretty exhausted having been either riding my bike a borrowed bike or driving a car for most of the day. So it wasn't a great surprise that I needed to get an early night and that I then slept in this morning.  

Batteries charged I headed off to buy some coffee beans taking the long way around over the Mendips on the bike, turning what we be a boring 16 mile urban ride in heavy traffic into a 60+ mile twisty hilly ride.  By the time I got home for lunch the temperature was really starting to build - the threatened heatwave is upon us.  The temperature in the shade at the front of the house was 33C in mid afternoon - even allowing for heat reflection of the driveway that's really hot for us.

In the garden, later on in the early evening I found a recently emerged damselfly taking it easy in the vegetation for my blip.
