Knick knacks

When I saw these items of dolls’ house furniture in a charity shop window, I immediately thought of my sister Tanya (TMLHereandThere) and Whatsapped her with an image. She replied that she thought that perhaps she had actually had them, back in the day. She had a very fine wooden dolls house (with no roof, because our mother never finished making it) with furniture for every room. I got the second-hands from her, and was more interested in making odds and ends for mine, or rearranging the furniture. My dolls house had no ‘people’ who lived in it, although we did once find my missing sandal in there, after nearly missing a ferry crossing while looking for it !

The day long and hot. Out of doors, the temperature feels as if we are in another country. A nurse and I actually moved the picnic table at work into the shade! I hardly had time for lunch. It’s my last day before going on leave, so I had loose ends to tie up.

Since getting home, I’ve been packing for going to a camp tomorrow. I’m not sure how I’ll cope either temperatures of 34 degrees….
