Diggings
Pilates mid morning; warm work.
Afternoon walk with various diversions; the blip is the digger parked in Albany Lane, where Scottish Water have a big hole being shored up; probably sewers, since the water pipes are usually higher in the utility stack.
In Union Street there's a new coffee roaster in what was built as a communal laundry and was Edinburgh Printmakers' premises before they moved to Fountainbridge. They have a piano and a lot of space.
On Carlton Terrace Scottish Gas have holes, not so deep, where they are replacing old metal gas pipes. Also watched the Calton Road tower site, where they are still loading concrete in by crane.
Back around by Dublin Street - early supper at the Dublin Street Social restaurant. Small plates made well; worth going back.
