Arbazal
Arbazal is a village - the only village - down a back-road that ends at Arbazal. It has probably not changed much in the last hundred years. My main photo is a small old house with a sundial on the wall.
Extras: 1. close-up of the sundial. 2 an old, derelict, pilgrim´s hostel, the photo taken from the same spot as the sundial photo. 3. the church, probably originally pre-romanesque (i.e. 9th or 10th century) though it´s certainly been modernised - some time ago; 4 a cockleshell embedded in the paving, to indicate the route through the village for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. The church can be seen on the left of the photo, and the sundial house on the right.
