Morning mural walk

After yesterday's baking-hot group walk in the city centre, I'd seen online that locally-renowned street artist Phlegm has just completed a new mural in Hillsborough.  I went out early to record it, before the heat had time to build up.
So here it is: with visitors in the main, and, for a clearer view, in the extra.
Quite a few people stopped to look at the work and chat about it, while I was faffing about to get the various different angles that ArtUK needs for its database.  I got talking to a woman who'd interrupted her supermarket shopping trip to see it, and it turned out that she'd been recording its progress day-by-day on her phone.  She'd got talking to Phlegm himself too, as he worked, and had brought her granddaughter to meet him as well.  She described him as a friendly and unassuming person. She herself has a lot of photography experience, including doing all the publicity images for a college where she worked.
It was a real pleasure to meet a fellow 70+ woman full of enthusiasm :-)
As I write this, the outdoor temperature has reached 31 degrees... very unusual for us, though of course more frequent than it used to be.
