Peacock.

I knew as soon as I said we hadn’t had any butterflies other than white, one would arrive.
So as well as the buddleia for Flower Friday, I also have our first peacock butterfly.

Glad I took this shot early as mid afternoon we had a call from our grandson to see if we could possibly have Jude and Leo for a few hours, as he had to take his mum to hospital.
Well of course we could.
Mum collected them when she finished work at about 7.30pm.
They still had plenty of energy after playing none stop, except for tea and a mimi magnum. ( see extra)
We love having them, but were shattered when they left, especially on the hottest day of the year.
So glad our house is cool as it was 29C outside, even on our shady terrace.

We will certainly sleep well tonight!
