Life through the lens...

A lonely little petunia

Who remembers the song?
‘ A lonely little petunia in an onion patch.’
Well my petunias are not in an onion patch but are doing very well in their own pots.
They seem to enjoy the conditions in our garden and don’t mind being in the sun or shade.

It has been another hot day but with a nice cool breeze. We still kept in the shade though, and have enjoyed a lazy day after collecting the car, ( MrC) and shopping in the village ( me)

Lunch and tea both enjoyed sat outside in the garden, with a glass of rosé as an aperitif and a white Muscadet with the salmon, and home grown potatoes, courgettes, and runner beans.
Peaches, raspberries, ice cream and cream for afters.

Now it has cooled down I’m off to do a bit of watering ( watering can) and some dead heading.
Must say I am enjoying this heatwave. It’s almost like being on holiday but in your own home.
