Evening in Poole

Taking friend R to Jersey for a holiday, as a thank you for all she does for me, providing food, lodging and counselling :) when I’m working in the uk.

The train arrived at Bath late, with just TWO carriages. It was unacceptably overcrowded in such hot weather. We stood all the way to the south coast.

But here we are in Poole, a stopover necessitated by the ferry timetable. But it’s been a very pleasant summer-busy Friday evening at Poole quay and old town. We had lovely Indian food and a stroll along the quayside..
