Candy posing ‘if you must’

Rattled our (suitcase) wheels through the streets of Poole at dawn. A calm channel crossing. Daughter J picked us up (R is like an aunty to her). Nice to show R my house and locality.

We had a walk, followed by a convivial evening in friend Ju’s garden. She invited friends who didn’t know each other so that was nice for R. She also met sweet little Candy.

Quite a late night though and we are both looking forward to catching up on some sleep. Will catch up journals tomorrow.
