One daze at a time...

Yellow warning

Oh sweet Jesus, it's here, it's upon us. Met Eireann had predicted it (and swiftly issued a yellow warning): the thermometer reached temperatures of 27 to 28 degrees. Celsius! IN THE SHADE!!!
The perfect day to drive up to Donegal then.
Thankfully a nice little lake was sourced in Leitrim (they have quite a few of day - and not much else) for a quick refreshing dip.
The evening was spent discussing 2,000 things with Michelle and Alain while eating crunchy cucumber salad and some delicious smoked sea trout sourced from an artisan fisherman/smoker in Mayo.
All good.
More heat tomorrow. How will we survive?
